Biofilm in domestic distribution systems– microbiological hazards and impact on water quality

The article presents the importance of biofilm as a cause of microbiological hazards and secondary water contamination in domestic distribution systems. It discusses the factors that affect biofilm formation and the selected methods of biofilm removal, including strategies to improve control and ensure water quality in water supply systems.
