The study considers the dependence of waste generation on the type of construction work, and analyzes waste management methods.
\nIn the studied case, the highest amounts of waste which was required to be registered in the Polish Waste Database (know as BDO) was generated during the period of the shell work. The largest mass of construction waste is generated during concrete works, as those require the use of wooden formwork. The formwork is known to be one of the most prevalent waste in construction (the BDO code 17 02 01 \u2013 wood). In addition, as a result of human error, i.e. wrong foundation, levelling or jointing of the formwork, it may be necessary to apply changes to existing concrete structure, which can generate additional waste (17 01 01 \u2013 concrete and rubble from demolition and renovation).
