Performance curves of centrifugal process compressors

Performance curves of process centrifugal compressors (operating in chemical installations) and pipeline compressors were analyzed. The performance curve shape of the multistage compressor and its operational range were described according to ISO and API standards. The phenomenon of surge and choke in the radial compressor was considered.
