The basic subject matter present in each issue:

District heating and heating

Ventilation and air conditioning

Water and wastewater installations and networks

The journal has been published since 1983 in a monthly cycle – one issue of Instal is published every month, No. 7-8 July-August as a double issue, i.e. 11 issues of the journal are published per year. INSTAL is a scientific and technical journal included in the list of journals of the Ministry of Education and Science (100 points for authors) – articles are reviewed (the review process and requirements for authors are included in the INSTAL tab “Information for authors”). It is published in paper version (basic version ) – marked ISSN 1640-8160 and electronic version – marked e-ISSN 2956-6738. All scientific articles marked with DOI identifier are available free of charge on our website in “Open Access”. Articles from previous years are available in our archive for a fee – contact wydawnictwo@informacjainstal.com.pl

INSTAL scope includes:

– Installations and networks: district heating, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, refrigeration, water supply, sewage, gas in multi-family and single-family housing, public utilities and industrial buildings;

– Pool installations;

– Fire protection installations;

– Technical installations: compressed air, steam, industrial gases, medical gases;

– Rainwater and gray water installations;

– Renewable energy sources, heat recovery, heat pumps, photovoltaic panels, Fuel cells, hydrogen/ammonia, biogas/biomethane;

– Sources of heat, electricity and cooling including cogeneration and trigeneration;

– Environmental issues, including: waste disposal issues, air protection, wastewater treatment;

– Water quality in installations, corrosion of installations, protection against corrosion, new materials, health aspects;

– Drinking water quality, including: acquisition, treatment, transmission (networks, connections, installations), health safety of water;

– Technologies for installation, inspection, repair and renovation of various types of installations and networks, trenchless technologies, tools, equipment, materials;

– Issues related to standardization – new PN, EN, ISO standards (information, discussion);

– Issues of quality, certification, technical approvals;

– Review of the law;

– New domestic and foreign books;

– Information about fairs, conferences, symposiums, training courses (dates, programs, detailed reports).

Aims of INSTAL

INSTAL is addressed to scientists, designers and operating engineers of various types of installations. The purpose of the magazine is to transfer knowledge in the above-mentioned field from the scientific sector to practice and vice versa from practitioners to science.

We are listed in journal databases:

– international : CrossRef (all scientific articles are marked with DOI identifiers by which they can be searched and read free of charge), Academia.edu;

– Polish : BazTech, IndexCopernicus , POLONA (for electronic version).

Paper and electronic versions of the journal are collected at the National Library.

INSTAL is available by subscription – print order in the “Orders” tab and as single copies – please submit orders to wydawnictwo@informacjainstal.com.pl

We also encourage you to order advertisements – price list and print order in the “Advertising” tab. We accept only ads related to the thematic scope of Instal magazine. Advertisements are not placed next to scientific articles marked with DOI identifiers with the exception of advertisements for: fairs, conferences, symposia or other events, as well as books, guides, etc.
