The condition of existing sewer lines, especially those made of concrete and stoneware pipes in the 60-80s of the
last century, is bad in every city in our country. An unsatisfactory technical condition of sewage disposal channels
causes a lot of negative effects such as environmental pollution (sewage exfiltration to the ground), higher prices of
sewage treatment (accidental water infiltration) and high network failure coefficient (formation of blockages, local
cracks, counter-falls and others).
When comparing the costs of repairing the canals in the analyzed sewage network of the S city, some trenchless
modernization methods proved to be more beneficial. The method of tight-fitting in-hardened sleeve (CIPP) and
loosely fitted short modules (KMR) proved to be cheaper in the diameter range of 160-500 mm. Reconstruction of
the sewage system using the burstlining method turned out to be more expensive than the excavation method in the
diameter range of 200-300 mm regardless of the type of pavement.
